How to Find Us
The building is easily recognisable with its heraldic shields and Georgian frontage and is half way down Northgate Street opposite an independent sandwich shop. Many of the staff can testify to the quality of its sandwiches and cakes. By TrainWe are just a 10 minute walk from either Canterbury East or West stations. Standard trains leaving London (Victoria, Cannon Street, Waterloo) take approximately 90 minutes. High Speed trains from St Pancras to Canterbury West take only 50 minutes. By CarUnfortunately we do not have parking at our medieval premises. There is a short stay car park less than a minute’s walk away that allows visitors to park for 5 hours. Canterbury City Council has produced a guide to parking here- we recommend the zoom function. However, for those wishing to visit us for longer the easiest and cheapest option is to use the park and ride. Where to StayFor those wishing to extend their visit, Canterbury offers its visitors much to see and do. Whilst the Cathedral is the heart of the city, there are many other museums and attractions and, of course, for those with Kentish ancestors a visit to the Cathedral Archives is a must. Canterbury is a thriving tourist and university City with many pubs, restaurants, hotels and guest houses to suit all budgets. Canterbury Tourist Information provides further information including accommodation lists. If you require any further assistance please telephone or use our Contact Form. |
